I took Friday off
So, I took a day off on Friday; and ignored this over the weekend. So, it’s working out well, so far.
Much of last Thursday, I bounced around from meeting to helping Scott figure things out to another meeting and so forth.
I don’t feel like I did anything particularly useful, helpful, or positive on Thursday; I was just really busy. Not a good sign that.
On Friday, though, I did do a couple things:
I got my old MacBook Pro upgraded to Catalina, something I’ve been trying to find time to do for a while, and it was blocking me from getting that laptop functional and useful.
I helped Ryan (my GC’s helper) figure out what moulding we needed to finish off the project. If we hadn’t had to change plans a bit here and there, I had the moulding order spot on. But, plans change, so we had to do a supplemental moulding order. That’s sorted now.
On Saturday, I did another useful thing:
Finally got my old laptop back to where it was: triple-booting MacOS, Windows 10, and Linux Mint. But, it’s now upgraded to Catalina from High Sierra, Windows has all of its updates applied, and I upgraded from Mint 18.3 (which loses support in April of this year) to 19.3 (which is good for a few years).
On Sunday, well, it was Sunday, so what I did was unload the dishwasher, and watch the Super Bowl (which was just awful; really, KC? No touchdowns at all?)
The last time I walked was Wednesday. It’s really hard to care about that right now. I’m working on it.
